Default 1973 coils
1973 corvette. 350, very Low miles so I think this is factory

coil is not firing. I will replace it But what are these extra wires on the positive side ? They look factory

I don't think that's factory, looks more like someone wired in a cut-off (anti-theft?) switch or something. Where do those two grey wires go?

They two wires run back thru the firewall

The kill switch does make sense.

I’ll see if I can follow the wires this weekend

Not factory and most likely the cause of why your ignition is not firing.

The wire at the top appears to be a resistance wire. If so, it is used to step down the power to the points in the run position. Jerry
