fellows looking for some help installing the gauge cluster bezel assembly, broke the first one (aftermarket) that I attempted to install, but now I was fortunate enough to locate a rare NOS bezel and can’t afford anything to happen this go round. Right now I’ve got the driver side lower dash pad in place with everything hooked up, planning on unscrewing and suspending it out of the way, then installing the center console with the gauge cluster assembly first, should I leave the wiper switch connected to the bezel or remove it and install afterwards, Appreciate any advice that can be offered, it’s a tuff job!
OK first thing is to remove Passenger side dash and leave. the wiper SWITCH bezel off.put fit in last put. the center bezel in and do not force it put the 2 screws in the driver side panel then the Passenger side and last the wiper bezel and be sure you put the 2 screws on the bottom of the Center bezel you will have to take your shifter plate out to put the 2 screws on good luck not that hard bob
Thanks Bobby, this project is a total restoration, so I’ve removed the interior and re-dyed where needed, installed new wiring harnesses, etc, so now I’m in the process of reinstalling the interior pieces and there lies my issue. The passenger side lower dash pad is out, the center console is removed. The problem I’m having is with the driver side dash in place and attempting to put the gauge cluster assembly in, the screw hole that holds the upper side of the bezel and wiper switch on the upper dash pad want align so should I remove the drivers pad out of the way and install the center console with the gauge cluster in first, then install the two lower pads to the center assembly. With all the wire connects hooked up and very little space to work, it’s a hard alignment to make, just don’t want to damage this hard to find gauge cluster bezel this time. Actually could use an outline/sequence that the assembly line may have followed with the installation of the interior for a ‘69, if you know where I might find that detail I would appreciate it, thanks for the help

well at least you have a nos bezel because it will fit much better than the junk aftermarket ones I didn't know you had removed both dash pads, much easier
