Hello,
who of you knows this kind of connection of the oil pressure line to the indicator?
Isn't there a small tube missing here which is stuck in the line. Or must a sealing ring in the groove of the cone?
It's been a LONG time since I've had mine apart but AFAIK it is a simple pressure fitting just like hard brake lines where the screw on connector just compresses the ferrule against the gauge for a compression fit. I believe the seal is made where I outlined below. Was it leaking?
That is called a compression fitting and it is correct. The Ferrell gets squeezed a little when tightening hopefully providing a fluid free seal. Don’t over tighten as you can crush the Ferrell

Greetings Micha
On my '72 there is a small tube that is inserted in the plastic line -- I believe it keeps the line open and true so as not to be excessively squeezed or distored when the compression nut is tightened. I've not seen the little tubes available outside of a kit, but the kit is inexpensive at just $10 and provides new tubing and connections at each end.
With a big block, unless you really need the copper line and connections at the engine side, choose the small block kit . The plastic tube and connectors are the same.
