Default 1979 L48 central vacuum block

Help me out please!! 1979 350 new heads new torq. 2 intake sniper EFI mild thumper cam. NO stock air cleaner or emission. True duels no cats. :: bought central vac. Block. Would it cause problems to run all vacuums off the block. I would over size main feed line form intake and cap all carb vacuums. Only 3 of them. To run vac advance, brake booster, lights, heater valve, etcc.. would it work ??? Any help please. Motor is out and trying to clean up engine bay. Thanks

To many lines could REALY clean up if central block used?

Pwr booster lines up with the only vac. Port on intake. 😡🤔

New central block. Maybe one end feed other end to pwr. Booster. And everything else on other ports ????

Someone else just put up a very similar thread. But I'll answer again.
If you have cleaned up all immissions. All you have left are 3 vacuum lines. Large one to brake booster, med one to check valve that runs headlight/HVAC vacuum and small one for distributor vacuum advance. seems like over kill to put in the block, not much to really clean up. Yes you can do it.
If your running PCV on this engine, That will need to be a separate line to the base of the throttle body.
With my EFI and small air filter I have far more wires showing than vacuum lines.

WOW that looks REALY nice. Thanks for the reply. Not sure if I will use it but got to do something since the main vac port on carb lines up with the intake port. How did holly miss this is beyond me. Thanks again you have answers my question.

My Edlebrock RPM manifold that is no longer on my car. But was with my EFI. Brass plug purchased from the plumbing section at a big box Home store.

And here's a photo of how I hooked up the Vacuum lines. this is and old photo from when I had the RPM manifold on the car. You can almost make out that low profile brass plug under the nearest Vacuum line.
using 90 degree fittings I was able to point the vacuum fittings so the Headlight/HVAC stock line fit right up. And power brake booster line is pointed at the booster.

I saw a vacuum set up at a car show.. They used an old school fuel distribution block for their vacuum set. There are some on ebay and a nice aluminum for $18 looks pretty nice!

I run my brake booster to base of EFI throttle body, HVAC and headlight doors to manifold and distributor advance front of EFI. (manifold vacuum). Everything works.
I should mention that I changed the intake manifold since those photos above were taken. (It's looking nicer now).

Not sure why you have suction on both Valve Covers.
And on the drivers side VC, is that a breather or a oil Fill Cap?

With your set-up of vacuum / suction on both VC, how is any fresh air going to enter the crankcase? You must have an inlet (breather) for this event.
Think; cross-ventilation. One side air enters, the other side exits.

But anyway. The brake booster should always have a dedicated solo vacuum line.

the driver side has pcv to front base of sniper. Pass side has a breather fill cap I assume let’s air in as well as press out.
