My brother made some shims for my trailing arm bearings. He made them out of A2 tool steel. He told me to ask the forum if this metal was correct to use. Hardness. Any machinist i’d appreciate your input.

Thank for your speedy reply. I was hoping you would chime in. I read a lot of post. Your #1 for this question.Your not to far away if I ever need your service. Done with my rear which I no aluminum is not your favorite. I don’t beat on her but if she doesn’t work out I’m going to give you a shout. Right now just having fun. BTW.
