Default Wheels - help me decide...

I'm planning to get 10 inch wide rims... Right now I have a 4 Centerline AutoDrags 15 x 8.5 on my 68... I also have a set (2) of 15 x 8 Torq Thrust II's with my Drag Radials.. Now here are my options:

1) Sell my 4 Centerlines and get 2 more 15 x 10 TT2's and run the 15 x 8's in front and the 15 x 10 at the rear
2) Sell my 2 TT2's, 2 of the Centerlines and get 2 15 x 10.5 Centerlines... and run 15x8.5 Centerlines in front and 15x10.5 Centerlines at the rear...

I've already decided what tires I'm going to use... I will use BFG Drag Radials 325/50R15 at the rear and my current BFG Radial 255/60R15 TA's in front...

So what should I do??

This question is not really fair for me to answer. I have wanted a set of TTII for so long now. I just gotta get my car finished before putting a set on though.

Cool wheels and a crappy looking car

Olivier - If you decide to sell the TT's with the drag radials, please give me a shout. I am looking for exactly that setup.

The TT2 look sharper in my opinion. Although they might be a bit heavier.

Either way it won't change that you have an awesome car!

You are right... the TT2's are approx. 2 - 3 lbs/rim heavier...

Would 8-12 lbs make a big enough difference at the track?

BTW - Where is the best place to pick up a set of the TT2 rims? Price-wise?

I got my TT2's off Ebay for a very low price... but I got lucky because I bought the 2 wheels separate... If you buy them in pairs they are much more expensive.. Other than Ebay - Summit has pretty good prices on rims...

Hmmm - no selection for rally wheels ?

I'm not big on aftermarket wheels, but I must say that the TTIIs look great !!
However, in order for them to look really good, all the suspension and brake
components behind them should be clean and painted.

I think the TTII's look like they were made for C3's :yesnod:

:iagree: TTII's are cool
Done right, the TTIIs will show very nicely on your GSC3.

Oliver I might be interested in those Center lines. We might even be able to work a deal concerning the 3.55 Rearend I have if it turns out you need a replacement rearend.
Keep me in mind.
