I am in the process of restoring the interior (carpet and '79 seats) and I was wondering if anyone ever goes with contrasting seats. I'm thinking about going with tan (saddle color) seats and keeping everything else the original blue. I thought it would break things up and look sharp. Any thoughts??? :steering:

Re: 2 tone interior (rafox77)
There's more than a couple two-tone interiors here on the forum. Chuck Harmon's L-88 clone comes to mind. I plan to make mine a combination of red & black. I already have red Al Koch door panels and can't decide on seats yet. If I go with black Corbeau seats then the carpeting will be red. If I use 79-82 seats then I'll get them covered in red leather and use black in the carpeting. I saw a Porch :D Boxster with the red & black interior combo and a silver exterior that I really liked.
It's your car and you can do what you want. :yesnod:
Have you given any thought about white seats? The factory did some 2 tone interiors with white seats and white door panels. Mine is white/firethorn from the factory.
When I went to the Sharkfest in Bowling Green I saw a number of vettes with 2 tone interiors and they looked good. I have some pics somewhere of a couple of C5's with ome beautiful seat combos in them.
