) that was recommended to me. Naturally, I need a to find a good ground for both flashers. Working on the turn signal flasher at the moment since it is located behind the passenger side map pocket. I have everything apart and can't see a good grounding location. Ideas?
I grounded mine to the metal part behind the kick panel, you can get at it without removing the kick-panel by using a self-tapping screw and going in just above them kind of where the vent cable is. On the drivers side that's where there is a factory ground screw (or at least where it was on my 72 where this star washer is)
(I also used that spot (drivers and passengers) for the power door lock ground and a separate wire run into each door for a ground on the power window motors)

I soldered extensions onto my two flashers, and grounded them to a new screw drilled into the birdcage behind the kick panels. In my cars, the flashers are in the fuse panel on the drivers side, but I used those exact LED flashers units.
Interesting. When using my multimeter and test probe, I cannot find a good ground anywhere under the dash nor when I'm poking behind the kick panel (didn't remove it yet however). There is the ground wire right there for my courtesy light, but I'd rather not Bubba up the wiring
The birdcage is coated, I needed to drill and tap a new hole, and use a star lockwasher, to conduct. It is also possible that your birdcage isn't grounded properly. How are you measuring?
Bikespace, I probably did not get enough of the coating off to get a solid ground. I was measuring with a multimeter for continuity. For kicks and giggles, I got a CEC EF32 flasher, simply plugged it in since there is no ground wire, and the signals work beautifully with incandescent and LED bulbs. Very audible click as well. I hope this helps someone in the future. Thank you for the assistance.
