I did several "sub panels" throughout my car to handle all the added stuff.
Slide together -
These are my favorites- relay with fuses- fully configurable
Used for the electric headlight motors and headlights-
And inside the car for all my added stuff- both pass and driver kick panels
Also note the 1/0 (pos and neg) for the starter plus the 4GA pos and ground from the battery for the electronics inside the dash.
The red 1/0 on the right is from the alternator.
Yes Sir! That's very clean! Alot of meticulous work there! I'll rewire mine completely when I have the opportunity to. I ran 1/0 wire when I relocated my battery to the front on one of my Fiero swaps. I have some 1/0 black wire I'll probably use for the engine grounds. I don't think big grounds hurt, especially if you are EFI. I think the 1/0 wire might be tight in the rear battery compartment on the Corvette. I got some wiring in front of me now. Do it right now and hopefully I won't have anything to worry about this summer. My Corvette sat for 4 years before I bought her and I think the last 5 years of their ownership they neglected alot on the car. They owned it for 14 years. The shop they took it to did alot of "sub-standard" repairs. So everytime I've gone to do something on thing, I find something else wrong that I have to fix. It'll be worth it when she glides down the road. This forum has been a great source of information. Been a great learning experience.
