Problems cutting the radio bezel
I am putting in a new radio and have to cut the bezel. I bought a carbine steel cutting blade for my dremel but it won't cut it. What is the easiest way you guys have cut it?

Re: Problems cutting the radio bezel (scottw)
I haven't tried to cut my bezel, but I've always had very good luck using the little cutting wheels that come in the tube. I've used them for cutting everything from stainless steel to ceramic tile. They work great on all kinds of metal, but not worth a damned on ceramics. The carbide wheel I bought was great on ceramics but didn't cut worth a damned on on metal of anykind.
So, I'd suggest using the little disposable wheels, you'll go through a bunch of them, but they are fairly cheap and they will cut.

Dremels are for fingernails you better use a die grinder. Use masking tape to give yourself some kind of an outline and cut that sucker. although my real opinion is -DONT CUT THAT! those bezels are fairly expensive and actually still available from GM (with a vin#) but I like the stock look. Good luck :smash:

Cut it with a pair of tile nippers. Cuts straight with no problems. My dremel generated heat on the plastic and made it soft.
