Wow nice stable of cars. I agree on the C6 forum. Even though I sold my C3 I still come here to hang out. These guys here work on their cars. I glance at the C6 forum but rarely post.

What's it like driving a car that weighs over 3600 lbs and has an automatic transmission?

Its a dual clutch manual that is automatically shifted. There is no torque converter! You can shift manually by putting it into manual and using the paddles. Give it a try. You can’t buy a stick shift Ferrari either. My C3 started at 3600lbs. It’s 2940 lbs now, with a 500 rwhp LS427. The C8 is quicker and faster!!!!

Your collection looks like mine was, right down to the "Velocity Yellow" that I had to sell because I didn't have a big enough garage. I am in withdrawal over that.

Atomic Orange looks great and you did the right thing with the body color accents. Never liked the hockey stick look.

very nice

Sounds like you have some work to do! I'm looking forward to reading your long-running C8 weight-loss thread.

But seriously, enjoy the car. It looks awesome!

A number of years ago I did a ground up restoration on 73 Z28. LS3/TKO 600 swap. Painted atomic orange. Great color that you don't see everyday.

It shouldn't be. It shouldn't even be close. The only thing that C8 should have on the old one is handling, braking, and top speed. You've got some tuning gremlins in that C3 it seems...

The engine is strong, but even with frame notching, offset trailing arms, and major negative offset wheels, I can only fit 325 tires inside the fenders. Also, no traction control, brakes the tires loose in first, second, and third. Big grin maker.
