There was a book written a number of years ago entitled all Corvettes are red.

C3 content: the C8 is quick and fast, but the C3 LS427 is scary fast!

Its a dual clutch manual that is automatically shifted. There is no torque converter! You can shift manually by putting it into manual and using the paddles. Give it a try. You can’t buy a stick shift Ferrari either. My C3 started at 3600lbs. It’s 2940 lbs now, with a 500 rwhp LS427. The C8 is quicker and faster!!!!
My C3 will slaughter the C8 in a 1/4 mile ... I thought ya had HP in that c3 ????

Z51 C8 does quarter in 11.2 seconds. 0 to 60 in 2.7 seconds. Traction control!

My c3 runs 10.77 131mph on a road surface not race track . Zero to 60 3.01 while spinning
My c8 I have gotten , 2.8. Zero to 60 and 11.2 at 124mph on a reg road surface
