Just installed a 383 stroker in my 69. For some reason I have the C2 connector but can swap that out. Need a 3/8 temperature sending unit. Going to use Willcox adjustable resister but still need to find a 3/8 sender. Does anyone have a parts number?
Can I get one from a local Auto parts store? I know this has been covered a 100 plus times

Just get the parts from wilcox. this and the adjustable resistor. Call them first if you have questions.
I am using the adjustable resistor with my original 1/2" sensor and it works like a dream....after putting up with decades of it being just plain wrong that adjustable resistor dialed me right in.
PS- I tried a suggested 3/8" part number from the local store, with my adjustable resistor, and while I could dial it in at Normal Operating Temperature (180°F) it would deviate A LOT as the temperature deviated away from that temp (either up or down). I'll see if I can find the post.

I did the same swap when my 350/350 blew up and put in a 383 with aluminum heads. The original sender (I think) was 1/2 inch, and the hole was for 3/8. I call Summit. I was told by a rep at Summit, that I could not put in just any sender that fit. The sender had to be calibrated to the gauge. I did not know that.
I would up going to the hardware store and picking up a reducer (adapter) that screwed into the 3/8 hole and then accepted the 1/2 inch sender. Works fine.
