Default 69 L71 Tech Questions

Hi VetteHeads!

A couple of questions I hope someone can help with. Should be easy for you smart folks!

I am looking for the original specs for a 1969 L71 fuel pump (model number, GPM and pressure) and the OEM cam specs. I am working on a refresh of my L71. Not doing anything crazy as far as performance. It will be mostly a stock L71 (I will change the rockers to roller).

Let me know what questions you have and what other information I can provide.

Thanks for the help!

1969 Chassis Service Manual, Specs section page 8 shows camshaft intake and exhaust lobes at .3057 multiply by 1.7 rocker ratio.

I have done a lot of research into L71/L72/L78/LS6 "similar" cams, in all formats: OEM, Solid, hydraulic, hydraulic roller, and solid roller.
Free info for asking.
Both Crane and Comp Cam give almost identical specs for the OEM L71/L72 cam.
But honestly, in this day and age, I would strongly suggest against a solid due to frequent lifter failure issues.
Here are ten or twelve that should all run & feel about the same as the OEM cam, but some will make more power, some less.

My 454 Dyno'd at 485HP with the Erson SR cam. And 550 TQ. And yet I am going to re-cam it with the Bullet above before it ever goes into the car.
