Hello everyone and thank you for accepting in this forum!
I think I have a problem with my ecm, when the engine is hot I lose the signal on the front injector, it works with the rear one only, if I insist the second will cut out too, if I stop the car is that I wait the injector starts working again.... if I leave it running while maintaining the accelerator at 2500-3000 rpm the injector will cut out then restart quite regularly.... I specify that it is a signal problem, that is to say that the current no longer arrives at the injector ..... ECM or not ECM ??? Thank you for your help
It is either one of three things:
1) The pickup coil in the distributor
2) The ECM
3) Wiring to the injector
Since it cuts in and out.....if I had it here at my place.....it would get a distributor/pickup coil. They were and are notorious for losing contact when the engine gets hot. The ECM doesn't get hot at all...so that doesn't track. That leaves the wiring.....which is easy enough to trace back and rule out.

Thank you for your answer, the pickup coil would first cut a single injector, then alternately one or the other?
If I change the wires of the injector it is up to the ecm?
another thing that I forgot to specify: one of the injectors is constantly powered and drains the battery
Ah....you could have a short to the ECM.......
I do not remember if the wires go directly back to the ECM or not.
Post a request in this thread and member Papawana will send you a free wiring diagram......he usually replies back pretty quickly:\ https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...or-anyone.html

What codes are you getting?I have an 84 w/same engine that had similar issues. Ran great cold (open loop) until it warmed up (closed loop),then sh@t hit the fan. No codes,I'd lean towards ECM. Mine was a bad ECM. I opened it up and most of the copper trace was lifted off the board and all crinkled up.Runs like a champ w/ replaced ECM.Good Luck

I have an error code that no one has ever seen!! #11, the box is #1225550, the rear injector which remains permanently powered and drains my battery, when the engine gets hot the injector cuts out, then starts again.... if I insists the second is also cut .....
the ecm has been cleaned and checked, some components replaced by the regular guys but nothing to test and be sure it works....

The injectors are supply 12 volts positive from the fuse box. Each injector has it's own fuse and the injector circuit is always hot whenever the key is in the on/crank position. The ECM only grounds the injectors.
