grilles 70 style question
i'm thinking of getting a set of repoduction grilles for my 70
has anyone else bought a set
i was concern about the quality, fit,etc
also any tips on the best vendor and price
current price i have found is $319 each

I guess you know the original '70 grills are a little different from the repro ones. The original '70 grills have studs with nuts on the front edge where the repro are like the later '71 units with screw holes. The original '70 grills are hard to find and expensive. Zip has good stuff and they sell the repro ones for $289 each http://store.yahoo.com/zipproducts/zip-gr-303.html
I took my originals off and stored them. I am running the repros ones....look fine to me. :cheers: :smash:
