Default One wire alternator question with diagram

Guys, I am restoring a 72 BBC coupe and have installed a Concept One serpentine system which came with a 165A Powermaster alternator. There are way too many posts on how to cable these one wire alternators. I took a "Richard454" example diagram and modified it to what I am looking at doing. A little information first. I have converted the engine to a roller cam, converted a pro flo 4 system onto a Torker 2 intake, installed a dewitts radiator with dual spals, also installed a holley EFI in-tank fuel pump. Plans are as follows concerning wiring:

The ECU and fuel pump relay will be powered directly from the battery, mounting the fuel pump relay in the jack or battery compartment with in-line fuses.

Run a 2awg directly from the alternator to the battery (add 200A fuse in line). Would ground alt case to block or intake. Question: Would prefer to use 4AWG, would this be safe?

Add a 200A fuse to the battery to starter connection. Question: Why add a fuse here if the factory did not?

Add a 6AWG from starter to junction block (in engine bay passenger side with 100A fuse).

Add the SPAL relays to the junction block with 100A fuse.

Take the old alternator charge wire and extend it to the junction block. Would I need a fuse here and if so what size? This wire and fuse is not in diagram.

What becomes of the 2 wire plug from the old alternator? Not sure if I have a amp or volt meter but I can add a volt meter from a 74 I have laying around.

Thanks for any help.
