Wipers not working
Hello to all. My problem is as the title says with my 69, wipers not working. In some detail, when I went to turn on my wipers the door didn't open and of course the wipers didn't come up. There was a clicking sound from the wiper area I believe and not just the switch. But if I pull down on the wiper door override the door does open and the wiper come up and work, but only if the override is used. So my questions are, what is the problem that only the override is the way to get the wipers to work and what exactly is the override overriding? Thanks and take care.

You could have a bad relay that is on your tach. Go to Willcox trouble shooting page. It should be.on there. The wiper switch should be telling that relay to open and release vacuum. Its doing electrically what you did manually. Could be bad connection or bad ground to that relay as well

I would check the wiper vacuum switch , safety switch,under the door, grill, on the drivers side.
