"Vette Packs" from Classic Chambered for the win. They seem to have a break in period. Not quiet, but not offensive either. Cruise is pretty subdued but they bark hard when you give it the gas. No drone. 10.75 CR, 383, medium solid flat tappet cam, 5 speed stick. Lots of compliments at the Cars and Coffee.
I have also had Hooker Reverse Flow years ago which might be a little bit quieter but not by much. They did sound great with a 350 L-48 and a Muncie. A deeper growl than the straight through style inserts for sure. Unfortunately, the HP loss is obvious. Maybe that is OK for some.
I see Classic Chambered inserts in my future too. I will try them out after a test period with my reverse flow Hookers. Curious to experience the differences in sound and power...

Thanks for all the info.
I just made the switch. Incredible power difference mid range and up.
