When I am parked and turn on my cars AC it stalls out and drains the battery so I turn off the AC and then after about 20 minutes it starts right up any ideas why this is happening. It is a 82 corvette crossfire fuel injection
Sounds like you are missing the fast idle solenoid that holds the RPM up when the AC turns on.
Even if you do have it, if you are sitting in park idling, the solenoid will not push the linkage into fast idle, it will only hold it there, so you would still need to blip the throttle when the AC kicks in.
Year? Auto manual?
above solenoid or maybe idle too low?
my 79 manual has no solenoid but idle is 900 and ac will bring it to 700-750 rpm
pic of both sides carburetor?
