I’ve never posted in the C3 section before, but I have a new to me C3.
I have a question for you fine folks…
I am looking for a C3 chassis, a new construction would be preferred, which I have found but only restomod chassis that use C4 or higher suspension. My car has a Shark Bite suspension and a good diff, so I would like to retain these parts.
I’m also willing to compromise and go the route of a good used chassis and have it refurbished and reenforced, but can’t find a reputable supplier that has any in stock.
What recommendations do you guys have? And don’t tell me to “throw the car away” like one of the restomod frame suppliers did.
These guys bought the original frame molds from GM, and can make you any individual frame part, up to and including an entire brand new correct GM frame.

Not sure what year you have. They start to vary @ 1973+
Thank you for the reply and the info! I Emailed them and am awaiting a reply. I found that website, but did not see that they offered full chassis, thank you for confirming that for me. Also it is a ‘71.

When you say you're looking for a "chassis," it implies you're wanting the complete rolling chassis with suspension, steering and brakes. That's the "chassis." I doubt you're going to find a complete chassis other than the resto-mod stuff that's custom built. You stated that you had the Sharkbite stuff that you want to retain, so I assume you're actually just looking for a complete new frame..? If that's what you need, as stated above, Vette Products of Michigan has complete frame assemblies manufactured using original tooling. But they do not offer a complete "chassis" - you'd have to assemble and configure that yourself. Here is their 1971 frame for a 4-speed car:
This is a frame:
This is a chassis:
The configurations and options to create a "chassis" are virtually endless, so any "chassis" would be "built-to-order" and not an off-the-shelf item.

Thank you for the clarification on Chassis vs Frame… It does help to use appropriate nomenclature. It’s the classic “give me what I want not what I’m asking for” scenarios. And yes, just a frame, not a rolling Chassis. I reached out and got a great response from Vette Products.
