Replacing my power antenna on my '82. I'm using a GM restoration part so wiring is identical. I've pulled the grommet out that is between the rear bulk head and the wheel well. How do the wires feed through this thing or where do I get a new one. The 3 wires for the antenna have a connector so I can't just pass it through. See picture.
On my 78 the grommet is split so you can get the wires in and out. I'd imagine yours is too, if not then you could just cut it and it will be held closed when you push it back into position.
If you're using a GM restoration antenna with the correct plug on the end it should just plug into the harness in the picture. No reason to to remove that harness unless I'm missing something.
