Default 1971 A/C electrical issues

Hi all,
I'm hoping you can help me get power to the a/c compressor on my 1971 corvette that had a crate engine installed 15 years ago. According to the Mid-America Assembly Instruction manual (page L337, UPC C60, Sheet E6), the 16 gauge dark green wire on the compressor connects to a 16 gauge light blue wire at a thermal switch . On my car, that connection looks like a simple pigtail not connected to anything else. Should it be plugged in somewhere?

It appears that the 16 gauge light blue wire goes from the thermal switch to a blocking relay which connects to the anti-dieseling relay which in turn is connected to an 18 gauge orange wire connected to the blower motor relay. Anybody know where the blocking relay and anti-dieseling relay are?

Most puzzling of all is that on that diagram (page L337, UPC C60 Sheet E6) as I said, it shows an 18 gauge orange wire tying into the High Blower motor relay (along with a 12 gauge orange wire, a 12 gauge purple wire & an 18 gauge dark blue wire).
Every photo I find of that relay (and the relay currently in my car) only has four prongs: one for the 12 OR wire, one for the 12 PPL wire, and one for the 18 DBL wire (all in one pigtail connector) and one for two 14 B wires (in a separate pigtail).

I'm wondering how the 18 gauge orange wire is supposed to connect? Any help would be much appreciated.
