I'm reassembling a '74 that is missing many parts. It looks like there should be a support bracket on the ends for the nose support bar. I've attached a pic. I have the bumper support bracket(not shown) but shouldn't there be something that secures the nose support bar as well? Appreciate any help.
Very helpful, thanks! So it looks like the headlight mounting/nose support bar just rivets to the body on the ends and the fender reinforcement pieces attach to the bump mount bars. BTW, nice job @74 Stingray , good clean looking front end.
Yes, the bumper also mounts in the same hole as the body reinforcement, pictured above, that rivets to the body. I probably have more photos if you need them.
