Default Alignment issue 1968

I just finished restoring the left side upper and lower control arm bushings. Now my steering wheel is turned a bit to the left when driving straight. I measured the tow in. Both sides are 3/16 toe in. The spec says it should be 3/32 toe in. How do I decrease the toe in a bit and straighten the wheel at the same time? Should I decrease the toe in?

I think move the left side out 3/32.

The factory manual calls for positive camber, but everybody else seems to like negative camber. Is this old school vs new school?

Positive camber is more forgiving (stable) for general driving, negative camber is better for cornering. Factory spec was very conservative.

How much off center is your steering wheel? Are you saying 3/16" toe per side so 3/8 total toe?

I tried adjusting the toe to make the wheel straight, like it was before I did the bushings, but that didn't work. I got the toe in about 3/32 on each side, the camber just a bit negative and calling it good. I removed the steering wheel and moved it one notch to the right,,,, centered. The car drives straight,,,,,, good enough for when I go have a beer.
Thank you.
