I have my transmission that I bought from salvage yard,so,from what I can tell the transmission looks good,but other than taking off the torque converter,that’s it,I do know this transmission came out of a Oldsmobile 1985 cruiser with a 307 I think.not sure about engine.
But,before I start tearing it apart,I have other stuff to do first before I get ready to replace the original TH350,which is in good shape.
and already know I will need some upgraded parts,such as servo,wider band,and better made clutches,along with a shift reprogramming kit,some parts are hard to find,but doesn’t some of these parts interchange with a 700r4 and 406E transmission.
