If you're asking about the standard 1970/71/72 LS5 454 GM 3883986 cam, it is available from Sealed power under Sealed Power part number CS1093M. This is also the same cam used in the 396 350 hp engines. The cam is readily available from NAPA, Summit Racing, Jegs, Rock Auto and any other auto parts outlet. It's a very good cam, and it's readily available from all sources. You can probably buy it on Amazon or from your next door neighbor's garage sale.

@%#^##%#!! Comp Cams! Damn em! The web page for their repop LS6 cam states that 65 and 66 396s need a groove in the back cam journal. They do indeed. How many, do you suppose, 66 427 owners and machine shops that didn't know better understood those motors also need it? I always wondered where the incompetent that sold me my motor got the idea it was 396s only.
That said, their repop LS6 cam is good. Most of the other cam vendors sell a version of the same cam.
