Default non vacuum headlight switch

on my 1970 I am going to electric headlights and cowl for windshield wipers. My question is can I change my headlight switch to a non vacuum switch and does anyone know the correct replacement part number. Also going to Dakota Digital gauges so trying to clean things up under the dash.
thanks in advance.

Check rockauto all the replacements they show appear non-vacuum. It should not be an issue if you converted to electric, other than working out the signal to open the lights or wiper door.

You don't have to change your headlight switch. Your change to electric headlight doors eliminates the vacuum, thus making your switch a "non vacuum switch". It will still work as intended. I have Richard's conversion and have removed all vacuum lines. The electric signal still gets where it has to be. The same with the wiper switch....it will work as normal, just follow the installation instructions.

No need to switch to any non-vacuum headlight switch. Nothing gained that I can think of either. Plus changing the headlight switch is a PIA unless you're dropping the drivers dash for some other reason

I concur with the guys above. I recently installed Richard's kit (wipers & lights) on my friend's '72. I did not have to do anything with the switches, and the systems both work great!
