Default Question about O2 sensor

I installed a O2 sensor on a car with headers a period of time ago with an Fitech 600 hp EFI. I totally wrapped the stainless headers to keep the heat in the pipes up to the O2 bung. So the computer seemed to learn and map out those parameters. Somewhere along the line the owner decided to remove all the wrap and the down stream dual high flow cats. Now the car with probably less heat at the O2 sensor gets a small amount of exhaust popping during engine braking off throttle.

Did less temp cause a leaner condition that the EFI can't figure out Would rewrapping the pipes bring it back up to heat and fix it?

I don’t think it makes that big of a temp difference, even with the best insulation..a wrap

Let's just say it did lower the temp at the O2 sensor. Does a lower temp cause less fuel to be injected

Header wrap shouldn’t effect much since the 02 reads the exhaust stream , roughly 500 to 800 degrees during idle , 1100 to 1350 degrees full throttle. Is this a one wire sensor or two wire ?

I'm not up on Fitech, but lets say 2 wire heated.

So the same question. Lets say that it used to have 800 degrees at idle off throttle and now it down to 600. Would the computer add fuel to bring the temp up? Or even at full throttle it used to say 1350 and now it's down to 1200?

Cooler temps are rich and read higher voltage while the higher temps are lean and low voltage , if it was at low voltage it should add fuel . Two wire or three wire should have a built in heater circuit to warm the sensor quickly . I’m not sure how the computer Logic works on the aftermarket self learning system ? New OEM cycle between lean and rich 30 to 50 times per second to excite the catalytic but not sure how the aftermarket thinks either

The FiTech will be using a wideband to do always closed loop fuel tuning and that will still work at room temperature.

I Am VERY up to date with FiTech. Won't learn decel fuel at all. Change in mufflers would affect it, not the wrap.
You need to go in and adjust tip out fuel.
