Outside mirror loose

Any trick to fixing the outside mirror? It flops around (but otherwise looks great). If no fix, then what, replace it? Thanks!

I have a dumb question. Why not just use crazy glue?

Because it's only a temporary fix and I preferred a more permanent fix. Plus, in my mind the super glue thing just has a Bubba fix feel to it.

I did this exact fix. Not that hard to do and you feel good you have fixed a 50 year old mirror good as new.

Just a side note that the soak time to release the mirror from the adhesive can vary. I had to soak mine for 3 days. It has to virtually drop off on its own. You cannot pry on it at all!
