70 LS5 thread sealer on head bolts
I'm getting ready to put together my motor after a rebuild. The manual says to use sealant on the head bolts as they pass through the water jacket. What kind of sealant should I use. I've been told not to use RTV? Thanks.

I use permatex thread sealer. thinking it's pretty much the same as the ARP stuff.
and it's handy for all kinds of areas so buy the larger jar, the little squeeze tubes don't go very far
