What does a C3 hard top go for?
If it is all intact, with all parts present.... knowing that it will need some new weather strip and be painted to match. How much would you be willing to pay?
???
am i supposed to be insulted or find that humorous
I have a hard top I want to sell. I'm looking to ascertain a fair market value. If anyone would be kind enough to help me get an idea, maybe a range, I would be very appreciative.
Alot of people with corvettes think they have gold and price things way too high, i don't want to be that guy.

A lot more details are needed for an answer. For instance, year?
chrome bumper c3’s are more valuable.
engine? Small block or big block? Big block more valuable.
transmission? Manual more valuable than auto.
mileage? Work done to it? Stock? Modded?
rust? Cracks in fiberglass?
The range could be $5k-30k depending on the above.
Ok. sorry that i wasn't very clear in my discription, my bad.
I have a hard top for a convertible. I aquired this top in trade many years ago. I'm not sure what year it fits.
thank you for your help.
i got lucky and found a black vinyl one for 500. i thought that was white vinl. the headliner in that one is very nice. not easy to find. might get 1k.

$1000 is generally the middle of the road for most hardtops with decent paint but some flaws. Up or down depending on the buyer/seller discussion. You look like you have a great interior. I would clean up the dust and dirt, get some great pics and start at $1000-$1200 and see where you go depending how good it looks
First I'd clean it up before presenting it even here if you want to get an honest value.
What I see your top is in the neighborhood of $800 - $1000 by looking at your pictures.
By looking at the date code on the Glass you can figure out what year car it came from. The more valuable the Year ( early cars) the more its worth. I can see its got the Chrome Tips so its not a 68. But the late convertables 1975 etc there were fewer made so they might be worth more. Of coarse this is only true to true to somebody who wants originality.
the chrome tips came on vinyl hard tops to protect the vinyl at the corners. that is the giveaway it was a vinyl top. and i want the tips for mine, but...
