Default Do I really need them???

TSC system relays on the firewall next to the windshield wiper motor on the drivers side......what happens is I disconnect them and remove the relays and brackets? I want to mount my coil there (on intake in stock position now) and was wondering if any of you have removed these items and what the effects are. My TSC system in not utilized. I have not looked at the schematic yet so please let me know if I can do this safely and without causing any other part of the elctrical system to not work.
Thanks
John

Transmission Controlled Spark, an emission device. Removal will help performance.

I do not think they will hurt anything. My car has been running fine without them. I do not know when the system was taken off, but it appears to have not changed anything.
