Default '81 Question

I discovered a loose "ground strap" on the rear of the passenger side valve cover of my '81, and cannot figure out where it attaches. The attached end is on the upper rear valve cover bolt, and the strap heads backward toward the firewall where it is laying unattached. It appears to be a stainless mesh type strap, about 6 (?) inches long, and not very wide. Can someone check to see where this strap should end up?? Thanks!

Should go to the shield that covers the distributor all up.
At least that is where is at on mine.

Yep. What Ken said. There should be a wingnut on the side of that black plastic (lined with aluminum foil) distributor cover, where the loose end of that strap should be attached. :steering: :seeya
