Default Oil pump pickup

I have a 1969 corvette with the 427 motor in it. It came with an aftermarket pan that was poorly made and so I am switching back to a stock one. however I pulled the pan today and realized that it had a different pickup welded to the oil pump. I am going to replace the pump/shaft and the pick up tube. I have found everything I need except I have had a hard time in choosing what pickup will be the right one for my stock pan. Does anyone know which one I should choose for my pan because I don't want to have clearance issues when I get the pump all mocked up. Thanks Lucas

Here is what the baffling looks like inside of the pan

Is that the "poorly" made one you pulled off or the replacement you obtained? It looks like the correct stock oil pan for the 427 with the flapper door (to diminish oil slopping around during hard driving) and center rear drain outlet. Your 427 should also have a windage tray using extended studs on some of the crank's main bearing caps. Here's a pic of my BB's pick-up for the factory pan - along with windage tray:

That one in the photo is the new one I am putting in for clarification. Ok great photo of the pickup! I assume you welded your pickup to the pump as well? Thanks

I didn't build the engine and don't recall if the builder replaced the pickup but will look at the invoice to see if it's called out. Yes, it's welded - you can just see the shiny spot weld dot at the base above the tray.
