1968 Push Button driver door
Hello all- I am new to this forum and this is my first post.
I just purchased a 1968 300 HP 327 C3.
This is my third Corvette, I have also enjoyed owning a 1969 L46, and a1995 coupe.
The 68 arrived yesterday, all is good accept for getting in the car. I am looking for advice before I attack the problem on what I can do to adjust the action on the keyed latch button. I have to depress this button until it bottoms out before it will unlatch the door. Sometimes it won’t unlatch. I am depressing to the point of where my thumb hurts.
Is this an adjustment or a parts change?
Also, the action is not responsive trying to exit. Not as bad since it’s a handle.
