Brake line adapter.
I need an adapter to connect a -3 male fitting to a 5/16 male brake hardline.

5/16????? Are you sure you didn’t mismeasure? Most lines are 3/16 or 1/4.

Nothing I know of that does that without a coupler. You want to use steel if you have to use a coupler. I don’t know where else to look.

Did some research and will use a tube nut and a tube sleeve. I will flare the line to 37 degrees and thats how you do it.

Make sure you use steel. These are brakes obviously.
