Drag link adapter install

Hi all, installing the below drag link adapter and having trouble threading it on, I'm needing an extreme amount of force when I get half way to keep it going, anyone else had this issue?

Did you remove the clamp bolt? Use some anti-sieze, and perhaps open the gap with a large screwdriver?

I just replaced mine last September and that's what I did.

I just put one on an old sway bar and it went on pretty easy after loosening the bolt.

Hey guys
I did remove the bolt and slightly open gap a bit
I took it off this morning and noticed a burr around where the thread meets the opening.
I filed it down to meet the other threads and re fitted today.
