Default Distributor Top Shield Brackets

I have a 1973 350 SB engine and will be replacing the Edelbrock Carb and intake manifold. Through strange circumstances, I acquired the OEM manifold and Quad, which Lars has restored for me. My question is which Intake Manifold Bolt is used to hold the Brackets. I have tried Google, AIM, and all the vendor catalogs, but none shows which bolt secures the Top Shield Bracket. I would really appreciate a close up photo that shows the bolt used for the passenger and driver Brackets. I believe that the brackets are the same for 70-74 SB Engines. Thanks for helping.

Passenger bracket is second bolt from firewall on Edelbrock Manifold

Driver bracket is the first bolt from the firewall on Edelbrock Manifold

Holley Muscle Series finned, perimeter bolt, small block chevy. They come natural, polished and orange. Spot-on repro of L46, LT1, L82 valve covers (in natural) with a modern breather baffle, that works with narrower roller rockers and "reasonable" poly-locks like COMP's Ultra Pro Magnums (when the heads have a raised rail).

Back on topic. I believe what changes after '74 is the bracket itself, not the attachment point. The brackets change because the distributor shielding adjusts for the HEI distributors. I am doing a '76 and a family member is doing a '72 and we just put both motors together.

I STAND CORRECTED! Left side is one bolt forward of the '76 mounting point.

Gbauman

The photo of the removed engine confirms that the brackets are attached with the same intake bolt locations. The driver side uses the bolt closest to the firewall, and the passenger bracket is attached with the second bolt from the firewall. Thanks also to Donnie for your photo.
