Let's talk about Super T10s
My 2006 Vette with its six speed manual transmission has very little character and is just another modern car…….and boring.
if we are talking about gas mileage……I am laughing out loud. Math is something opinions cannot change.
it’s your car…do what you want, but not fooling anyone…at least not me.
To the OP…..good job.

Here's some more progress, for the three people looking in...

Pretty sure I could get a few more miles outta these

Lady on the streets, freak in the sheets...er, I mean dirty girl.

She cleans up nicely though

More abrasive than my sense of humor

ARP bolts requeitre that the chamfer be generous enough to allow the bolt head to seat. I wanted to make sure of it.
I didn't get pictures because sometimes I get into the moment and forget, but I did test the assembly on my press, as Lars' infamous post suggests. It worked perfectly. I also indicated the bellhousing. It was out about .007" TIR, but I'm not gonna sweat it. Unfortunately, BOTH new pilot bushings were made of ferrous material. I measured and inspected the original (non-ferrous) one in the car the best I could, and decided to keep it. If I have any issues, I'll make one out of some oilite stock I have.

And here is the monkey butt in all it's glory.
Very worn slider. Splines are worn narrow on lower half. Causes popping out of gear when going on-off throttle, especially so in second gear.
You might want to examine the inside of the sliders especially the 1-2 (rearward) slider. If you see narrowing of the splines, you probably need to replace that piece. That said, your gears show normal expected wear. Probably not popping out of gear. No significant chipping on the clutch teeth. I would not replace that gear.
They are machined to lock onto the gear synchro teeth to prevent jumping out of gear usually under deceleration.
ONLY sliders I have seen with only one side torque locked like that are the Muncie 3rd - 4th sliders.
All the gear engagement teeth look excellent !
1. Oh man, you're right. Life is way too short to enjoy rebuilding something that has no purpose. I should be throwing big money at stuff I need even less, for something I won't use that often.
2. Brilliant advice! Please help me decide what car and parts you want me to have. I clearly am not qualified to make decisions for me.
3. Very well crafted and intelligent response. I will definitely take you up on that when I get a boat.
4. If you think THIS is stupid, wait till you see what's next.
Excellent response for such a stupid statement! lol
