Default Tank Sticker Codes

Just pulled my gas tank from a 70 vert. Never had a car with a tank sticker, now I have a new project to decipher it and remove it.
I have looked through past threads and internet and can’t seem to find a list of all the codes. Mine are faint and thought I could have an educated guess if I had all the codes. Appreciate any advice on finding the codes and best way to preserve the sheet. I’ve cleaned as much as I dare with a paint brush. I’m looking into clear contact paper, but I don’t want to ruin anything now or later.
Thanks
Jim

Have you Googled "1970 Corvette option codes "?
Look at the third through fifth character on your sheets.

Yes, but what I’m looking for is what the codes, under option number, mean on the tank sheet.
Thanks

That's exactly what I linked you to .
LS5 is the 454 engine
M20 is the 4 speed transmission
U69 is the FM radio.
Etc.

The broadcast code begins with the third digit in from the left...like as Melwff states LS5, M20, etc. I think I see a C05...convertible?

Yes, you see C05 and C07, the optional hardtop.

Ok, so the first two digits a last two digits are all the same?

There are lots of codes below “Comfort & Con”, I’ll work on it, but although hard to see, I am not matching up the codes.

Thanks for the direction and assistance.

Comfort and Convenience. Really hard to see in your picture plus part of it appears to be cut off.

Any other ideas or is clear contact paper, the best option to use before removal of the tank sheet and any issues with long-term preservation?

No contact paper! Above all else, you want to protect it as fully as possible from damage and acid degradation from improper storage materials. Search for "archival" sleeves. Also get a piece of unbleached archival mat board from a frame shop that will just slide into the sleeve as a backer. Then slide the tank sticker into the sleeve and store in a cool, dark, dry location.
