Summer project 76' vette
I also switch from ported to manifold vacuum on my vacuum advance which noticeably improved my idle quality. Pic shows where the vacuum advance was connected originally. This line is ported vacuum according to my finger.
Everything seem to be running well but I welded on an o2 sensor bung in case I end up wanting to check air fuel ratio later.
The flow master mufflers are a bit annoying with a serious drone noise at part throttle while moving slow. I am looking for cheap stock mufflers but haven’t found any yet.
I connected my hvac vacuum pump to the vacuum input. The vacuum pump helped find the issue. I heard a hissing under the dash in some vent modes. Then chased tubes and found one pulled off a clear rubber tee (pic). Deep under the dash. Since routing the original tube back to the tee seemed difficult I added a section of tube allowing me to reconnect more easily. Seems like all the mode selections work now. Unless I’m mistaken fresh air from the outside only flows into the passenger side then across to drivers side. Another c3 oddity. My 63 ranchero gets tons of fresh air when you open the vent doors. I feel
like the c3 could use a better system to bring in high volume of fresh air when you are at speed.
