Engine wiring harness possibilities
Helping a friend that just purchased a 69 427 4-speed car. Engine harness is original and a mess and needs to be replaced. Looking for a little direction please.
1. Best brand for quality and support
2. Is the BBC car any different in the engine harness ( the online harnesses to not show a different part for either SBC or BBC or manual trans vs auto) ?
3. He is going to add aftermarket A/C, would that be any consideration when looking at different brands of harness?

Lectric Limited is the best for original fit and finish....
These should fit all 1969's.

I purchased my complete restomod harness from them.
AAW has two type’s available, one is factory original and the other is the restomod harness.
The AAW restomod harness was already set up for a hi amperage alternator, new blade style fuse box and extra length wiring so you can run it different from oem to clean up the engine compartment.
Both companies offer the correct crimping tools to get the job done.
When I checked with both Letriclimited and AAW the ac and power window harnesses were separate harnesses and both told me that since I was going with a Vintage Air ac system, that the VA harness would cover any needs for my ac wiring.
