So, after 8 months I’ve finally got it back from the shop. My tires are on and balanced. I’ve got 3 new concerns of today.
1. when I got on the gas, even a little bit it feels like my back end is breaking lose and it jumps and stutters from the rear, you know like you’re breaking lose and an overall, lack of umph in 1-2 gears - gets on it in high 3rd fine. (But I’m not giving it any where near enough gas to break lose.?)
2. there’s a deep heavy groaning coming from my back end when I break to a stop and low speeds as I accelerate - but not at speed.
3. I just heard gas pouring back into my tank.? (Video won’t attach).
without hearing the sounds unfortunately, what are y’all’s best guesses.?
Well, that makes sense. How difficult would you guess it is to do? Should I do the front as well.?
Thanks
The rear trailing arm bushings are a skill level ten job.....and they require special tools to do.....
You can buy new trailing arms with the bushings already in them....but you have to swap the bearing and knuckle assembly and that can be a skill level ten job.....
Besides replacing the power booster, IMHO....there is no more difficult job on these cars than the rear arms and bearings....
