C3 Engine Swap Shop
I am contemplating buying a nice running 90 point C3 with a lackluster L48 engine.
Can anyone recommend a shop that could offer a turn key engine swap to a performance engine, 383, L3-6, crate, reclaim, etc.?

If I could afford I would go the L's route. I'd just goto the wrecker to get one. You can get a good one off a truck for 600 to 2500 depending on mileage which realy doesn't matter since your probably going to redo the top end for performance anyway. Bottom ends are bullet proof so wouldn't worry about that. Lots of lower cost kits to do it too. That said the builder I know sells a 350 for about 3k, then add horsepower from there. 5k would get you a whole lot of power, roller aluminum heads etc. Im saving for a 454 with about 450hp-500hp, he wants 4500 for that. So I'm swapping out my 350 when I get the cash.
