1974 Convertible hard top stuck
Hello all,
I just purchased a 74 C3 convertible and the hard top is stuck. I have flipped the 3 levers on the front and I am twisting the release on the back however only the drivers and middle pins are releasing. Passenger side wont release. Any suggestions?

You will need to get a bright light and look at the rod that goes from the release handle to the chrome latch (located on the rear deck). The rod is bent on the latch end and on the handle end there is a small holder with a screw. I am guessing the rod is not being held by the small holder. Until you crawl in the back you won’t know for sure. Did you remove the special bolts that attach the hard top to the deck? The bolts are located on the read deck near your ears when you sit in the car.

yeah, don't go yanking on it. go make sure that the one side is "bolted in" instead of using a pin....
