Patriot side pipes
Hi,
I’m thinking about putting a set of patriot side pipes on my 77 corvette.
I notice they come in various lengths and was wondering what’s the best length to chose.

For the rear, I used a stainless hose clamp riveted to a mounting tab that goes to the chassis. There are spacers attached to the hose clamp to keep the shield away from the 4" exhaust pipe.
For the front, There is a rubber mount that keeps the 4" exhaust pipe in place. It's in the engine bay. Also in the engine bay, there is also a 4" V band exhaust clamp connecting the downpipe to the side pipe.
