I have a 1980 Corvette, all stock. For hoping to improve the ride and handling, I was thinking about getting a Total Suspension Kit and having it installed. I'm having trouble finding a shop around Baton Rouge that will work on the older cars. If and when I do, does anyone have any idea how many hours would be involved in doing this job? Eckler's sells such a kit along with other Corvette sites.
Thanks for any feedback.

Most will tell you to stay away from urethane on these suspensions with the exception of the sway bar links, the rear struts and the pinion snubber......

Check which brand they sell, and look for Prothane Brand. Installed in my 1978 since ~ 2012
Luckily when I did mine the Poly kit was out of stock with a huge lead time and I went with all rubber aside from the sway bar links, and a few others that I was stuck being the only option.
Let me tell you, we've got a road here.. Riverside Dr. It's not in the greatest shape, but it's a beautiful scenic drive. My teeth chatter it is so rough.
These cars are already tight, unless you wanna splurge for future veneers, I'd just go with the rubber.
