I just bought a 1973 corvette that's been sitting in a barn for 3 years. Im wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction of the parts I need for a tune up and where I could buy those at.
Don't forget the brakes! I would flush the system with new brake fluid. Since it sat for 3 years, check the calipers for leaking. The old fluid absorbs moisture and may have pitted the inside of the caliper.
Also, check the tires for hardness and cracks. I think most tires have a date code. See how old they are. Hard rubber will make your Corvette feel like its on ice.

Why don't you determine if it needs a tune up first.......? 3 years is not a long time to sit.......I have started cars that sat much longer with no issues.......check the oil...fresh gas and let er rip......if it doesn't run well, assess that situation at that time.....
My 82' Z/28 sat in my brothers polebarn for 12 years and it fired right up with fresh gas.......the carb needed a rebuild, and that is probably what you should consider spending your money on......

Exactly.....Caliper pitting happened to me. Replacing/Rebuilding all four calipers now.
