and carefully measure length of bolts ARP and original ring gear. ARP bolts bottomed out on mine and i already chamfered. Had to use originals. they didn't make correct size..
its in my thread.. and ARP's response..

Yes the ARP bolts are also an improvement that creates a can of worms that you do not need. I also added the ARP bolts, and the chamfer and then they were TOO LONG requiring each individual bolt hole and bolt to be measured and machined. Way too much effort for a stock strength rebuild.

The brand that is named after a territory in Northwest Canada. However....we also also found a small loose bolt piece inside the case so it may not have been the ring gears fault. Normal Corvette semi-aggressive street driving.

One of the very first problems I had with my C3 was clicking during turns. I spoke to a couple shops and they suggested a full Posi rebuild. The only problem was when done the rear axle sat 2-3" taller and it looked like some fool has jacked up the rear. I had the major components Magna Fluxed to ensure that there were not any cracks that could lead to breaks. My 427 is putting out way more horsepower and it was cheap insurance.

You mentioned the mileage a while back and this might be the time to solve that issue.

Good Luck with your C3, you are making great progress on it!
